A business phone system built around the call, not the handset

Most phone plans look cheap until you add the menu, the recordings and the reports. On Youvoip they are part of every plan, so each call is answered, routed and on the record.

Every call reaches someone

Set business hours, holidays and a menu once. Calls ring the right group and move on when nobody picks up. After hours, they land in voicemail to email. Nothing rings out into silence.

  • Press 1 Sales: ring group, simultaneous ring
  • Press 2 Support: queue, then voicemail after 3 minutes
  • Holidays: holiday greeting, then voicemail to email

Your number, on every device

The business number rings on the mobile app, the desktop app, the browser and the desk phone at once. Staff call out with the company caller ID, not a personal number. When people leave, the number stays with the business.

The call log shows every call and lists each missed call with the reason. The answer rate per user shows where calls slip through. On Business and above, dashboards show the busiest hours and wait times per department.

How business VoIP works with Youvoip

Three steps from sign up to the first answered call. No technician, no hardware to install.

  1. 1. Pick or port your number

Choose new local or toll-free numbers, or keep the ones customers already know. Porting is included at no charge, and your old line works until the move is complete.

  2. 2. Build your call flow

Record or type a greeting, set business hours and holidays, and send each menu option to a ring group, a queue, one person or voicemail. All in the browser.

  3. 3. Invite your team and install the apps

Each person gets an extension and signs in on the mobile app, the desktop app or the web softphone. Compatible desk phones connect too.

Set this up on your own number

Your menu, your hours and your routing, live on a real business number, on every device your team uses.

Enterprise VoIP, judged on numbers you can check

For the owner, the COO and IT: what the phone system costs, what it replaces and who controls it.

One predictable bill per user

One price per user per month covers the number, calling in the US and Canada, the menu, recording and analytics. Add or remove users as the team changes, and the bill follows.

No hardware, no closet PBX

No phone server to maintain, no line rental and no technician to change a menu. Admins manage everything in the browser, and existing SIP desk phones keep working.

Security and admin controls

Calls are encrypted in transit and recordings at rest. Admin roles decide who can listen to recordings. Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM provisioning, custom roles, an audit log and data retention policies. See VoIP security and enterprise VoIP systems.

Business VoIP questions, answered

See all questions

Can I keep my current business number?

Yes. We port local and toll-free numbers from your current carrier at no charge. Your existing service keeps working until the port completes, so there is no gap in calls. See number porting.

Does it work on my mobile?

Yes. The Youvoip app for iPhone and Android rings with your business number and calls out with the company caller ID. The desktop app and the web softphone work the same way on a laptop.

What happens when the office internet is down?

Calls do not stop. If your office connection drops, Youvoip forwards calls to the mobile app or to a mobile number you choose, and anything unanswered goes to voicemail to email.

Is there a contract?

No. Plans are monthly or yearly per user, with no long-term contract. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the paid period.

Do you charge extra for call recording or the auto attendant?

No. The auto attendant, call routing, voicemail to email, the apps, call recording and call analytics are included on every plan. Higher plans add longer storage, queues, texting and multi-site controls.

Can I use my desk phones?

Yes. Compatible SIP desk phones connect to Youvoip, and each phone rings together with the apps of the person who uses it.

How does billing per user work?

You pay for each person who has a Youvoip extension, monthly or yearly. Add users when you hire and remove them when people leave, and the next bill follows the change.

Can I try Youvoip before I pay?

Yes. The call flow demo on this page is free and needs no account: build a menu, hear the greeting and simulate a call. Youvoip itself is a paid subscription, monthly or yearly, with no contract.

How does 911 work?

Every user has a registered emergency address for 911 calls, set and updated in the admin console. Because 911 over VoIP depends on that address and on a working connection, keep addresses current when people move or work from home.

Do you support SSO and admin roles?

Admin and user roles are on every plan. Enterprise adds single sign-on with SAML, Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, SCIM user provisioning, custom roles and an audit log.
